More reviews of Satanic Panic
Really fascinating investigation zooming into one particular page of the satanic panic that I’d never heard of before. I really appreciated the way you compared the right wing Christian hysteria of the 80s to the actual systematic abuse that was going on at residential schools at the same time.

Not just careful journalism but an amazingly pithy and comprehensive grasp of the entire psychosocial concept, in all its manifestations. The best distillation of this terrible phenomenon we’ve heard and very timely.

It’s probably just a personal thing, but I found the narrators way of speaking distracting. Lots of pauses after every other word or so to try to create drama. The affect wears off after the first 15 minutes.
