Satura Lanx, Magistra Irene, is probably the best Latin-language podcast especially for the beginners. Her pedagogy is spotless, you can always see the hard-work she has been carrying very clearly in every episode. Thank you, magistra.

It has been eye-opening for me to experience Latin this way — something I never did in four semesters of college Latin. Optima!

This is okay, though the groaning in the pauses and the lip smacking drove me nearly mad. For a better accent and fewer annoying mannerisms, and — what’s more important — huge amounts of well-presented material, check out the Swedish collaboration at Latinitium.

I like the naturalness of your podcast. All it needs is a transcript to help us grasp more as we learn. It would provide added value as a visual reinforcement and could be used with other tools such as LingQ inter alia.

I'm not sure whether people realize the breath of her online course so I just wanted to jot it down here. It covers Latin language from basic to advance with videos, readings, exercises, lectures and much more. I started this course when I was not even able to say: "Rome is in Italy"...Read full review »

Especially if you are a beginner or intermediate level student of Latin I doubt that you’ll find a better resource for you. Very clear pronunciation, ample use of synonyms, interesting content... Give it a go!

Very Good! I’m not an expert, but it seems that the pronouncing follows the classic Latin, however “v” is pronounced like “v” instead of “u” as I understand it would have been.. Great work nonetheless:)

This podcast helps me, someone learning Latin alone, to make the langauge alive. Irene is a great teacher and her Latin is clear and easy to follow, which is not the case with most other Latin language podcasts. I cannot recommend this podcast highly enough.
