SavvyPainter
I’m a relatively new painter after a science based career. After I retired, I painted on my own, joined a local artist group, went to quite a few workshops and started selling my work and actually got to a place where I reluctantly called myself an artist. I cant remember now how I started listening to the Savvy Painter - maybe it was a random search, I don’t know. But I am not a great sleeper. And when I have times when I don’t sleep, I listen to these podcasts of hers and they are so well done that I was ok to not fall back to sleep but if I did I always relistened to them and sometimes many times. Antrese has a gift of interviewing. She listens, engages when she should and directs the show as a pro. The people she interviews are amazing. I can’t remember any one person who has not kept me interested. I’ve listened to other art podcasts but none come even close to hers. Her interviews bring out the best in her subjects and ease anxieties in you as an artist or educate you in all that you need in following your passion. This is one to subscribe to and make time to really listen. S McKell North Vancouver, Canada

Oh, I can't...Read full review »
