“I’ve listened for years and appreciate the way you provide medical content in an easily digestible way, combined with great chemistry and comedy. I’ve never taken the time to leave a review before, but I had to reach out to acknowledge and appreciate the way you approached and disseminated gender care as a solely medical issue, and the passion behind your words as you spoke to the need for doctors to see the issue in that manner. I have a trans person in my family, and the reality is that he would be dead if he had not had access to gender affirming care as a young teen, in the same way a child with cancer would have been. He just finished his junior year in college and will be applying to vet school shortly because he had access to the medical care he needed.
People need to understand that this is a medical issue, and personal morality has no place in the discussion between patient and care provider.
