“Ideally, I would like to give one to five stars depending on the announcer and the topic. One star when the announcer speaks in an artificially high-pitched, supposedly かわい voice. It’s generally inappropriate in view of the gravity of the topics covered, and in any case it’s a bad role model and insulting to Japanese women everywhere. Time to move on to the 21st century and show an empowered, confident image of Japanese women to the world.”
