Great podcast
Okay, first off, I do really like the podcast. I've never really gotten big into the SCP scene, but I've always thought it was a great concept. And for the most part, the podcast does a great job bringing it all to life. The actors are all good, and there's a solid production value. Some of the stories get a little too goofy/lighthearted for my taste, but given the collaborative nature of SCP and the numerous authors involved, it is understandable. My main problem, however, lies in the translation from written word to spoken audio. In an average SCP entry, many names and details are blacked out/redacted. This works fine when it's written down and you're reading it, but I find that the constant censoring gets VERY old, VERY fast when listening to the podcast. Also, you can often tell when an actor is pausing before a redaction (as opposed to a fluidly-read sentence that gets censored after the fact). It's not a big enough problem to make me stop listening, but it is an area I think could be improved. EDIT: Since leaving this review, whether by chance or intentional, I've noticed more recent episodes have cut down on the constant-censoring problem I had with the show. Keep up the good work. Five stars.Read full review »

So this show not only appeals to the working-long-hours-and-can’t-be-bothered part of me but also the part...Read full review »
