“Now that the WRU has actually recognised the problem I hope that the (otherwise) excellent ScrumV will give it some serious attention. I suspect that you are all unaware because you all sit in the Press Section not the Stands.
For several years loutish drunken behaviour has been ruining the game for the serious rugby enthusiast. Cutting the alcohol percentage will have no effect: the offenders will get plastered earlier and drink more. Closing the bars at half-time is to be welcomed. My worry is that it will lead to a rush 35 minutes into the first half followed by even bigger trays purchased and more slopped over the rest of us. Why not simply not allow drinks in the Stadium?
Please ScrumV take this seriously. Gareth would not wish his children to be subject to this sort of behaviour (and accompanying abuse at any protest).”
