Disappointing interviewee choice
Normally love this show and I’ve been listening for years now, and usually find it very inspiring. However I was so disappointed at the choice of interviewer (Anima Porter). No doubt she was a great speaker with interesting insights, and I felt terrible hearing about the loss of her husband. However we are living in a time of serious wealth inequality, social unrest, cost of living crisis and most keenly a climate crisis evident with exceptional and terrifying weather events striking all over the world (including America!). To have someone speaking so openly about how they’re working to encourage rich people to further separately themselves from society through the encouragement of commercial flying is just so astoundingly tone-deaf, it left me open mouthed in disbelief at the podcast producers. The podcast is a brilliant opportunity to highlight remarkable women working within business to build their dreams but also to better the world, society and commerce with decent ethics. Hopefully we will see this incorporated into the podcast in the future…
