The laundry
The young mothers were juggled and used by the church for social control measures. The Sydney girls to Melbourne, the Brisbane girls Melbourne or Sydney and the Melbourne girls to Sydney or Brisbane. The women were treated like slaves in the laundries and kitchens of the church run institutions. The women had their babies taken away after brutal birthing processes. All the good people took the babies and everyone stayed quiet. No one listened to the un deserving birth mothers. The cruelty and spite of the social judges backed by the churches.

Yep, a fragile millennial with a minor identity crisis spins an entire historical narrative as mitigating excuse for her mother being a narcissist neglectful alcoholic. Blames Australia, Christianity, Patriarchy, everything except the person who neglected her.
