“This has me hooked! What a shocking and heartbreaking insight into the archaic system that considered it ‘in the best interests of the child’ to remove them from the care of their mother ‘just’ because she wasn’t married! The social stigma attached to these poor women was abhorrent. To give birth at such a young age, with no support, and then to have your baby removed from you - must of been truly horrific. To me… unimaginable. An excellent podcast. A must listen. Thank you”
