“Steve Gibson goes into very detailed explanation of technical subjects. Thus, this podcast is not meant for entertainment. People don't listen to college level Quantum Mechanics podcasts for entertainment, do they? The sometimes lengthy discussion on unrelated topics, like the Kindle, ultra capacitors, PDP8, is a way of knowing the personalities. Otherwise, it'd be like reading a dry book by an author you don't personally know. The Audible ads seems long and self-deafeating. E.g., if I listen to all the TwiT podcasts, I wouldn't have time to listen to any Audible books. I wish the show notes is part of the podcasts so I don't have to go to the site to download them. Still worth 5 stars despite of these nits.”Read full review »
