Good, but not great
Steve is a very smart person and has a lot of information. He is very active in the information security community and knows what is happening. Unfortunately, his delivery lacks clarity and focus. For example, Steve recently tried to discuss the lower layers of the TCP/IP stack. Rather than use a systematic approach of using the stack concept (something I use when teaching on the college level), he tried to use what I can only classify as an "inside out" approach that confused me, a TCP/IP user for over 20 years! Another complaint is that Steve has made mistakes and does not provide a clear way to contact him to provide corrections. We all make mistakes. But I would like a non-public way to send a note to provide corrections and maybe add information that he could use. Other than these nits, I continue to listen and recommend it to others.Read full review »

Security Now is fabulous, best podcast on the web for technical users. One of the few that are targeted at the technical community and take the time to explain topics in depth. Great job guys....

For many years I have been listening to Security Now. Steve is a bright person who explains security and technology like a college professor but with the applicability that we need.
