A true noble effort to dazzle with the written word spoken with equal flare and elan
The quality of the pieces selected and read are astonishingly good on Selected Shorts. The playfulness and simultaneous wit and profundity are irresistible. Not always home runs, it must be admitted, and way too often bent towards the female author or female perspective, at least during the short years I have been a full fledged fan, but the heights they reach! And the frequency with which they reach those dizzyingly satisfying heights, with the small group of superstars and the larger group of very good players around them, is one grand achievement indeed. Brava, Bravo and keep up the good work! The producers and announcers at Selected Shorts do their entire creative community proud.
