Jingoism and hubris
I listened to half of the episode with the Navy SEAL and all I could think is that neither of these two (the SEAL nor the interviewer) had an iota of introspection, reflectiveness, or to question "why". They criticized "millenials" as weak willed somehow but did not explain why. The sense of vast self-superiority was overwhelming.
