Voice like butter
Melvin seems to be a wizard at conjuring a specific kind of conversational space that invites the humanity of the guest and the casual listener. Listening to Melvin talk feels like I’m having a 5th cup of camomile tea at a bed and breakfast in rural Appalachia. Thanks Melvin for providing a space for us to feel generous with each other and connect as private practice therapists.

More reviews of Selling the Couch with Melvin Varghese, Ph.D.
Knowing how to reach potential patients you can help is so critical today. Gone are the days of “open your office, start getting clients”. This is such a great resource! Great job!

Dr. Varghese is so genuine. Very soothing voice and info that will serve as a blueprint of sorts for therapists moving into private practice. Beyond that, compelling info that will serve many of us who are not therapists but are venturing into businesses in other arenas. Looking forward to more!

These episodes are really interesting and I didn't expect to enjoy listening to couples therapy information as much as I did :)Read full review »
