“there is nothing i love more than a deep dive discussion into my favourite books, but no-one i know will a) read them or b) humour my need to dissect every plot point. i’ve loved every episode i’ve listened to but the other boleyn girl pod stole my heart. i’ve loved the book for years & forced my work colleagues to listen to me wax lyrical about it & other phillippa gregorys near on every day, so my delight was through the roof (although i do also know too much about kings, but we can’t be perfect). this podcast is the perfect commute listen, and has forced me to read so many books i’d been ‘meaning to read’ but never got round to. highly, highly recommend”
