Biased
It was very clear what the journalist narrating this podcast wanted you to believe. Not sure what the truth is but I do know what that despite what this podcast implied, looking happy in photos, not talking about abuse straight away, and other people not knowing about the abuse are not evidence of lying. The podcast raises interesting questions but I felt uncomfortable with some of the conclusions being suggested.

Fascinating case. Concerning portrayal - so far very one sided and the host shows poor understanding of family violence, sexual assault, trauma and how this manifests. Really hoping subsequent episodes provide more balance.

Cannot help but agree with many of the reviews here. This is biased journalism rife with misogyny. My interpretation of this is that she was possibly experiencing PTSD triggered primarily by competing in her chosen sport, and by hearing about other young women being exploited sexually by an older male.
