Wonderfully imaginative way of setting the context for Shakespeare's plays - what was going on at the time of their writing and performing, how the audiences will have understood Shakespeare's references and metaphorical expressions in terms of contemporary political and religious events. I have listened to the 100 Objects podcasts at least three times through. I am so glad to have Neils' voice back! I wish other museums would follow his lead and discuss their collections in this format it makes subsequent visits so much more rewarding.Read full review »
