“While there were some interesting episodes at the beginning, the quality us gone downhill, and the information given is not really helpful and doesn’t provide anywhere near enough detail. Should have more experts on the podcast to help with credibility. Case in point - the episode where they pushed birthing in a private hospital as being superior to public hospital was despicable and completely one-sided. As someone who did go through the public system, listening to this made me feel very ashamed that I couldn’t afford a private experience.
It is also difficult to listen to with the main host being rude and talking down to the other hosts and money diarists. Very uncomfortable to listen to.
There’s also a number of questionable sponsors on the podcast - eg. Credit card companies- it blows my mind that a podcast supposedly meant to help financially empower women is pushing credit cards on them. The social media accounts are no better - constantly flogging luxury items and showing off their luxury lifestyle. No thanks.
There’s way better podcasts out there on personal finance that don’t try to take advantage of listeners.”
