For the grand finalists of Shiva this year, trials had to be overcome to reach the chance to grab glory. In much the same way, we have overcome adversity to bring you tonight’s blast. It was a week of heartbreak for some, but when it came to Sunday night, cheers could be heard from computer nooks around the country as the villain was slain and tonight, we dedicate this podcast to that iconic loss. Buckle yourselves in for a bumpy preliminary final edition of the Shiva Blast!

After an episode in which the wheels fell off in glorious Crutt-driven fashion, can we get things back on track this week? Given this introduction is being prepared after we recorded, the answer is no, Benny is all over the shop. Good thing we’ve got others to carry us as Crutt returns to Lippy Kissy, McRath tries another new segment (and succeeds?) and Tim Marsh weighs up the pointlessness of it all in a pre-last round bumper edition of the SHIVA BLAST!

This week Crutt finally gets his chance to host the podcast, and lets just say the results are mixed. We get all the regular segments, maybe not in the normal format, and hear from some old friends. 

Damon's been away for 2 weeks and apart from the notably excellent performance of Coach Tim Marsh, there’s a bit of cleaning up to be done. Benny has been head wobbling up a storm so that’s first up. The boys take stock around the leagues and see if Crutt has recovered from the heartbreak of a non-invite in this weeks SHIVA BLAST!

With Damon needing a break and myself with a new job and baby, we didnt think we would be able to bring you a pod this week. But debut cohost Tim Marsh has stepped up to the plate beautifully, and as they say, the show must go on!
