Really good documentary, broken down into (roughly) 20-minute chunks. Tony Blair is among the guests, and he says his piece about the WMD and other aspects. What I wasn’t aware of is that Blair actually had a perfect get-out clause before he committed the UK to the war - which, alas, he didn’t...Read full review »

No big surprises here but lots of primary interview content from the main players at the time. Thoroughly enjoyed every episode

Episodes too short, between the ads the teaser for the next ep there’s barely 15 minutes of content in some eps.

Excellent podcast. But I found it difficult to stomach the rationale that was so clearly flawed. Richard Dearlove despite the evidence & hindsight still insisting that there were chem weapons. The fact that it’s so easy for US & it’s allies to destroy other countries is sickening.

5 Stars for Gordon Carera for hosting this interesting podcast. However the main players, Blair, Dearlove etc continue to make their excuses that based on intelligence etc they did the right thing. They also continue to hide behind details of secret intelligence and private meetings that we the...Read full review »

Great show, but although it does go deep on many of the issues related to Iraq, it manages to skim through the biggest issue of all. The “why did we go to Iraq in the first place”. It misses the opportunity to push against Blair’s narrative that although there no WMDs he still think it was the...Read full review »

Great podcast, lots of contributions, insight and detail. However it’s tough to listen to the continued defence from Blair and Dearlove without apologies being provided. Straw also comes across as someone who’s not particularly willing to admit his fault or guilt and so it makes it tough to...Read full review »

Word had it that after Secretary Rice visited Blackburn she reported back to Bush and soon after Straw was fired. He always came over as being a weak man

Tony Blair and Sir Deargood come across as the black wizened souls that they are. Nether of them is able to admit their colossal failure. Great and straightforward interviews of these horrible toads. We should never forget how the state lies when it wants to go to war.
