“I'm a huge film buff and have a true love of the horror genre for the majority of my forty years on this planet. I've been listening to horror podcasts for several years now, regularly checking in each week to the four or five shows that I inevitably settled into while constantly seeking out more quality podcasts, often with great disappointment. Somehow Shock Waves, and the previous incarnation Killer POV, had never crossed my exhaustive search until now. And that is a crime. The show is absolutely wonderful in almost every way. The three hosts are fantastic and have great chemistry together. I may not always agree with or have the tastes for certain films that they do (which is always the case for all movie lovers with any person, podcast host or not), but when we share the love of certain films, I am giddy as can be. Informative, insightful, filled with amazing interviews, and just downright fun, Shock Waves is a must for all horror fans. Period. As a recent discoverer, I am in heaven not only for finding this gem, but now knowing I have hours and hours of past episodes to spend with these great people. My only problem with the show is that I sadly cannot join in on the conversations.”Read full review »
