This is my favorite podcast :) What I enjoy the most is that someone - either the guest or Ashley herself - really enjoys the manga, so they can still have a passionate discussion about it (I find podcasts where they're simply trashing the thing the entire time very unenjoyable). I also like...Read full review »

Ashley and Asher covers a lot of classical manga and media in time where shonen gets the cake and eat it, too. A much needed and refreshing escape for younger girls and ladies who wants to dive in their own media✨

I haven’t read many shojo manga but really like learning more about it from the hosts and their guests. It feels like sitting in on a fun conversation between friends!

Really good podcast about shoujo manga! It goes into detail about the series as well as their thoughts on it. I normally don’t analyze manga, so they have some takes that I never would have thought about. I highly recommend!

I love old school anime but found this podcast to learn about Shojo manga. The episodes with Asher are really funny and so fun to listen to. I have actually never read a Shojo manga before but I love listening to these episodes and get so much out of the summaries.

Always delightful to hear this podcast even if you hadn't read the manga they’re discussing (I didn't read Haruka, threre’s a shocker). Also love the analysis of shojo manga through the LGBTQ lens because manga rarely has the best track record of that, and it’s important to hear that voice.Read full review »

I listened to the maid sama podcast and it was just two girls laughing at the plot or the conversations in the book even they don’t know the plot well. The podcast itself is too chatty and does not give real content. I like the concept of telling stories about shogo manga but you gotta know...Read full review »

I came across this podcast late last year and I’m so glad I did! Ashley has such amazing personality and keeps things interesting each episode; along with great variety of guest. Thanks to this podcast I have from new Shojo titles to read. This is a podcast I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the episode of Banana Fish. I’ve been watching the anime and was excited to find a podcast discussing the manga and anime. Both hosts were knowledgeable about the series and it was enjoyable to listen to it in its entirety. The discussion about the art style and differences...Read full review »

The host and guest hosts are enthusiastic about shojo and their faovrite series, which makes it a joy to listen to. I've found that a lot of manga/anime podcasts can overlook the shojo genre, so it's great to have a show highlighting these works in particular. And it's led to me...Read full review »

as an avid shoujo lover of 6 or so years, this podcast has been a total joy to listen to!! utena, cardcaptor sakura, and maid-sama are all some of the series closest to my heart, and the people who chat about them are clearly just as passionate! it was super fun to hear a seventeen quiz's...Read full review »
