“Enjoyed ‘The Lady Vanishes’ and this podcast also seems very interesting. It is right this case is looked at again and that justice is sought for Gwen. However, perhaps there is a need to reflect on the out-dated terminology and language used around suicide so as not to perpetuate stigma associated with what is more-often-than not the tragic result of a mental health issue such as depression. E.g. ‘committed suicide’; ‘clear Gwen’s name’ give the impression suicide is a sin or something to be ashamed of. It can really happen to anyone and often there are no outward signs, prior.”
