Gosh I was excited in August last year when it was boldly announced that Susher was back. If you haven’t listened before, pick an ep and float away on clouds of the finest whimsy. Alisdair, you have listed many things but there is so much everything to get to! Have you considered the soft sound...Read full review »

I laugh, and I get sleepy. Both are good. Seriously, it’s a great parody, and I can zone out if I’m actually trying to fall asleep and get the same effect.

I found getting to sleep at university very hard what with loud drunks, home sickness and general existential dread. However this podcast provides something for me to focus on in during theses long nights. Oh, and did I mention that it’s really funny.

I’m sorry, I couldn’t finish listening. Tried to listen to inner glow and the things he was saying really put me off and was not, at all, relaxing.

Recently been suffering with anxiety when trying to sleep, and this really helps! And gives a little laugh every now and then. chuckling gently to sleep

Food pipes eating own lips and eyes swallowing burgers and bone softening pills - grossest mediation I’ve heard - but wait I think it’s a prank and funny haha.

Not sure what place this has in my daily routine yet, but it helped me get some work done when all I wanted to do was watch YouTube!

I used to put bread in my ears when I wanted to get to sleep. But it would get crumbs in the bed and I got fed up of feeling like I was sleeping on a bird table. So this is better than that. Thanks Al

That voice. You literally can say anything and it is so calming. I listen every night. I sleep well and happy. Even if I’m ink on a crumpled paper.

...this crazy ‘meditation’...actually...put me to sleep.

Just recently heard of this after Alasdair mentioned it on Josh Earl’s podcast.. With Bart Freebairn not really doing Spirit Blast anymore, this is fantastic! Calm, yet ridiculously funny!

Haven’t been sleeping well, put this on off the back of the weekly planet recommendation and was out in minutes, if you haven’t heard two in the think tank either you should go listen to that too.

Love this idea! I never thought mediation could also be funny, why shouldn’t it be? How about some sleep episodes that are a bit longer and with a non-awakening ending?

Unexpected. Genre blurring. Thoughtful?

Finally, something I enjoy that also puts the kids to sleep.

The dulcit tones of Alisdair Tremblay Birchall combined with a very relaxing soundtrack had babies with a pizza river. I mean, is there anything more you could possibly want?

I have listened to many guided meditations. All of them take themselves too seriously, but this one doesn’t, and it totally works, I found myself relaxing with a big smile.
duckinawa via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 02/06/19
Alasdair guides you through many not-ever answered existential questions, and takes the piss out of ‘real’ guided meditation whilst giving really genuinely good guided meditation. Meta. As a regular guided meditation user, it was both useful and hilarious!
M-Dubyoo via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 02/06/19
Comedy guided meditation that still somehow works. I don't know how he did it, but he's done it.Read full review »
