“SU&SD are the best, easily. They’re smart, funny, and very great at articulating what makes a game good or bad, though I do wish that they would take some critical takes on board games or the industry as a whole. I understand why they take the extremely approachable stance to board games on their YouTube channel, but this is a board game podcast. Only people who are absolutely in love with board games are going to listen to these podcasts. It would be nice if they took a deeper dive.
Even if they don’t take a deeper dive into the industry, SU&SD are just phenomenal people. I want to be friends with Matt, I want to play board games and RPGs with Quinn’s, I want to hang out with Tom and Ava. They’re just genuine, fun, and interesting people who are just simply amazing at reviewing games and pinpointing exactly why games are good or bad.”
