“The amount of thought put into their reviews is incredible and they still have energy to be very funny and even thought provoking when considering topics like the impact of the hobby on the environment, the messiness of history in a game’s theme and the business aspect of board gaming. Always entertaining and a really great companion to their YouTube channel that I didn’t think could compete given that it’s only audio. This podcast has become the “fix” that I genuinely look forward to instead of just something that holds me over until the next video review. I started listening towards the end of last year and have just about made it through the entire catalogue. It’s been a pleasure to see how the show has evolved and the new members are welcome additions to another real strength of the show - the chemistry between all the reviewers. This is a show that keeps bringing me a lot of joy and gets me excited about gaming with friends. I’ve listened to a lot of great podcasts but this is the one that compelled me to write my first review. Highly recommended for people who like games and want something unique, well produced and fun.”
