Even though Karen is a homeschooling mom and has episodes geared towards homeschoolers, all her episodes, at least up until 2016 because that’s as far as I’ve gotten right now, can be applied to any mom whether you have toddlers or older kids in public school.

I’m no longer in a season on homeschooling BUT I still listen to this podcast because at the core of Karen’s message is staying focused on what truly matters and that is Jesus! So grateful that she stays consistent on her message. I know I will always be spurred on in my walk with the Lord!

Love this podcast & your heartfelt words & prayers. I’m not a homeschool mom but I have been a stay-at-home mom for 21 years. This podcast is such a blessing to me, as a woman of God, a wife, a mom and a homemaker.

Ok, that might be an Allie Beth Stuckey book title but this podcast helped me see again I am not enough when I’m trying to homeschool on my own strength. This message hit home, I was acting on my own power and very self focused. I want to repent of that self centered heart and look to Christ for...Read full review »

I first heard of Karen when she spoke at my first homeschool convention. Oh what she spoke about during her session was what I needed at that time. Ever since I heard of her I started listening to her podcast. I love how she points you back to Jesus. I’m learning so much from her as she learns...Read full review »

This podcast is so refreshing. In the world of social media, it seems like everyone is so scripted and every picture is staged but I love how relatable the topics are. I am currently listening to episode 168 and it is exactly what I needed to hear today!

I am so happy I found your podcast! Your focus on family, homeschooling, and a mamma’s faith-walk is honey to my heart! Homeschooling can be isolating and a mom can get easily swept up in comparison , self doubt, and even driven away from her foundation, Christ. Your reminders and candor through...Read full review »

I REALLY LOVE this podcast! I’m so glad that you got up and recorded this podcast. Thank you for sharing your experiences and thoughts and for pointing me to my Father in Heaven and to Jesus. I want to read the book you mentioned. Where’s the link to it? I don’t see it anywhere. Thank you

As the title says, Karen is talking about living simply, while focusing on the most important thing in our life - our relationship with Jesus. And even that I don’t relate with part of her topics, as I don’t homeschool, I am so so blessed with her real, down-to-earth approach.

It sounds like Karen’s kids are a ((few)) years older than my daughter... ((She’s not even 10 months old)) I just listened to the Clutter Free at Christmas episode, and it totally brings to mind stuff about growing up in a family of six, and now that I’m a mother, I’m thinking of how I want to...Read full review »

I enjoyed the core message (live minimally, focus on important things, reduce stress, stop comparing yourself) but I was disappointed that she supports Disney with all the brainwashing that the company is trying to do to promote, normalize evil and harmful lifestyles in the minds of innocent...Read full review »

Disappointed. Podcasts focus a lot on problems. There is a lot of “we need this and that” and “what’s wrong with the world” stuff. I was hoping for more solutions and new ideas. Left me feeling drained and bummed out.

I love the way she brings everything back to God and living for Him. You can tell she is so in love with Jesus and that just flows out of her heart into her life.
