“Informative, enlightening, inspiring. 'Socrates', the "man with the questions", interviews a vast array of scientists, science fiction writers, entrepreneurs, philosophers, doctors, software engineers, etc. whose only common thread is the future of humanity up to and following the "Intelligence Explosion" which should occur sometime in the next century. Some episodes are much stronger than others, but I find the great variety of perspectives and personality styles make for a great composite view of the human future. Nikolas is sometimes stubborn, even argumentative, but asks piercing questions and explores the personal backgrounds and motivations of his subjects, which makes for compelling listening.”Read full review »
