Description
Welcome to the newest member of the Sisters of Flow team – Constance Fields! She is one of our new co-hosts providing fresh perspective on some topics. This week, we learn how our brains actually navigate differently at different times of our cycle. Also, we’ve talked about the period experience from a trans male perspective (see Episode: “Why Periods are NOT just for Women”) and now we talk about the period from a trans girl perspective. As this election year comes to an end, we wanted to give a shout out to our First Lady Michelle Obama for her remarks regarding girls missing school at this presentation at the World Bank Spring Meeting. Feed your period with pears! These sometimes mild and earthy fruit are great Yin tonics (and thus helps in building Blood.) At the same time, they are chock full of vitamins and minerals, such as B-complex, manganese, magnesium and more. But we talk about one other really important feature of pears that may help with many reproductive disorders.
