It's a Real Period Piece...of Art
Listen now
Description
The beauty of art is definitely in the eye of the beholder. This week, we look at the history of the display of periods as art. News flash – it isn’t anything new! We review the funny watercolor depictions of a Rhode Island School of Design student’s experience with her period. Next, Jen Lewis and her husband team up to create gorgeous photographs of her menstrual predominantly in a water medium.   Feed your period with salmon! Not only is a delicious fish, but it packs a punch in many ways to nourish your period as a Qi tonic and loaded with healthy fats and more.   Special thanks to our Flow Friday Fact partner, the Womb Sanctuary, A Sacred Place for Women to be Seen, Heard and Loved!
