A review for Alice. For, not Of.
This is 100% for Alice’s benefit. Anyone else reading this, I mean, sure the show’s good & you should listen, but not everything is about You. Like this thing, for instance. This thing is about Alice, who likes to read reviews of her show. So if You are not Alice, there’s not much here for You. I’m frankly surprised You’re still reading. Alice, hey, how are you. I’m a fan of the show, & I love the deep dives. The chemistry between the three of you is warm & inviting; & your discussions of complex issues are clarifying, edifying and understandable in a way that respects the complexity of the issue and the intelligence of Us The Audience. Your ability to communicate specialist knowledge to a lay audience should be studied by other science communicators. Thanks for a great show.

I was wondering why we in the UK don't have a comparable podcast to the Skeptic's Guide to the Universe. Turns out we do. Sometimes irreverent and always funny, definitely worth subscribing.Read full review »
