This show is a delight. Quite apart from the quality original content, the hosts seem to be really genuine people. Probably my favourite podcast, and I listen to a few!

Was such a great skeptical podcast. Has turned into a social justice podcast with a sprinkle of skepticism.

A great science and skepticism based chat with great accents. Guest cameo by Colin coming soon. Hosted by the worlds leading authority on all things placebo. Give it a go.

so left leaning that they are only sceptical on some matters, anything woke is accepted without question I used to enjoy this show now it just annoys

I got into this looking for more Skeptics podcasts after binge listening to the whole of Skeptics Guide to the Universe. If anything I enjoy this even more and that’s saying something. Maybe I like it more because it’s UK based and I’m from England, what ever keep it up guys.

I have listened to every episode of SWaK and have been listening weekly for over 10 years. There is no doubt that some excellent work is put into this podcast, Marsh is worth listening to alone, but I think the podcast needs to grow. Some episodes it takes something like 20 minutes to get to the...Read full review »

SWaK is without doubt the best science and skepticism podcast globally. It is the only podcast that I have to listen to on day of release every two weeks (Really guys? Two weeks is too long!). I have been listening to the podcast since 2012 and I’ve never once got bored. The hosts are...Read full review »

The whole cast are delightful. It’s worth it just to hear Marsh describe what happened in Be Reasonable. I love it

A great balance of: - humour & serious stuff, - science & stories about Alice’s dog, - myth-busting homeopathy & Marsh - Dr Who & the Daleks. Everything you could want from a pod.

I stumbled across this show when catching up with ‘Monster Talk’. It’s interesting and I enjoy the variety of topics. Only criticisms so far: the shared political bias bleeds through a bit on some topics; and it’s a bit baffling to hear unscientific/ virtue-signalling terms such as ‘men with...Read full review »

A great show with thoughtful discussion in a relaxed setting. Mike, Marsh and Alice are funny, compassionate and committed to pragmatic scepticism. They don’t try to tell listeners what to think, more how to think their way through an issue or topic. Valuable in these superstitious,...Read full review »

I listen to a lot of podcasts and this is the best one. Always funny, interesting and thought provoking. It inspires me to look further into many topics. I enjoy all the presenters but recently I really want to thank Mike for all his talk about autism. My son is also autistic and has to deal with...Read full review »

It’s generally not a bad show, but they can get a bit holier than thou. Im also a little sick of mike going on and on about autistic, when he hasn’t even been formally diagnosed.

This is 100% for Alice’s benefit. Anyone else reading this, I mean, sure the show’s good & you should listen, but not everything is about You. Like this thing, for instance. This thing is about Alice, who likes to read reviews of her show. So if You are not Alice, there’s not much here for...Read full review »

Skeptics with a K is probably the only podcast that has never been taken off my rotation of things I’ve listened to over the past 10 years; listening to these three ramble on in an informed and entertaining way has helped me question my own internal biases, as well as reinforced my own...Read full review »

Funny, witty and highly informative. Easy to understand discussions and topics to sharpen your inquisitive mind and help you separate the truths and the nonsense we encounter daily.

Great show, love the banter, love the topics, hosts and guests are always great. Planning a holiday from Australia to the UK around QED once international travel is over.

A great podcast with a broad range of current topics. Lots of fun and banter from real people doing real work and getting major results that are improving things for everyone. Good stuff guys ! Keep it up. DtD.

Narcissistic, holier than thou, arrogant, insulting and childish… but Mike aside the podcast is generally entertaining if a little rambling and unfocused at times but even then, the flow is saved by the intractable Liverpool sense of humour that permeates the entire podcast. However, when they...Read full review »

One of my favourite podcasts to listen to, always entertaining and the hosts cover a broad range of both fun and serious topics. The episodes always leave me with something to consider and have helped me incorporate more skepticism and evidence-based principles into my life and work.

Lots of topics covered in a gentle way. Only recently discovered the skeptic movement, and this is a nice introduction.

SWaK is a show that lends itself to homeopathic listening; incredibly little is more than enough. Bearing in mind that, "Skeptics with a K", is light Merseyside entertainment, a chance to evesdrop on three mates chatting once a fortnight as if in a pub, no great store should be set...Read full review »

I’ve enjoyed this podcast for many years but I’m getting tired of their political show boating. The latest episode included a self indulgent and smug admonishment of the tabloid headlines about Doctor Who. I just thought this was rather unnecessary, and confirmed the cross over to politicking...Read full review »

Top marks for scepticism, humour, warmth, biscuit nostalgia and joy. The pedant in me has always been slightly miffed that they make a point of rubbing their choice of unpatriotic American spelling in my face.

For me, the issue with this podcast is that some self-appointed Skeptic leaders are interspersing their personal political opinion in with the skepticism, with the implication that if you don't agree with their Guardian by numbers viewpoint, then you're not looking at the world through...Read full review »

This podcast introduced me to the world of skepticism. The guys (and later girl) are great at showing us how to think critically about all the nonsense that comes our way on a daily basis. And those lessons are mixed liberally with swearing, horrifying puns and good natured banter. I love it.

Mike, Marsh and Alice do a great job speaking about controversial topics in meaningful ways. It seems clear that each host puts in a good deal of work preparing their talking points for each episode. Mike with his oddly humble aversion to writing a much-needed book on the placebo. Marsh with his sarcastic sense of humour. Sadly iTunes works on a star rating rather than the more common Caramac system. I'd still give it 5 out of 5 Caramac's, though. Of all the podcasts I listen to this is the most addictive - I've marathoned them 4 times now and each time I have learned more. It's a great tool for...Read full review »

Sad to write this, but I think the podcast is going off the boil a bit.
