“I was in a really dark place last year. I always thought that going into law enforcement was what I was supposed to do after graduation. My entire immediate family is in law enforcement. I wanted to make them proud. So I worked really hard. I made lieutenant at the end of my 3rd year. But after a major assault the department showed me a new side. I saw how much my superiors didn't care. You made me realize that it was up to me to change my situation once I saw that I wasn't valued at my place of work. You also spoke into my reality of finally starting my business. One night I cried for about an hour. The next day I started looking for other jobs with my same salary in my area. Last month I was offered a position with the same pay and I took it. I also started my lash business after finally taking a lash course. I love making new designs for my clients. I'm Tailored.esthetics on IG. You are truly an inspiration. Next on the list is planning out my month, week and day with a self care day every week.
