“This is going to sound extreme but it’s true—I haven’t gone more than ten nights, total, without OTC sleep medicine in at least five years, probably more. I don’t have a problem falling asleep, but I wake up after a couple of hours and can’t fall back to sleep. I stress out and worry about everything, especially how I can function at work on 3 hours sleep! I was also really worried about what long-term usage of that medicine was doing to my brain. But two weeks ago I discovered Sleepy and I haven’t taken a sleeping pill since—that’s HUGE for me. I still wake up frequently, but I start a new Sleepy podcast and go right back to sleep. It’s amazing. I wake up in the morning refreshed instead of groggy, and I feel so much better about everything! I never would have believed this was possible—I thought I would have to wait until I retired from my stressful job and then teach myself how to sleep again. I never would have dreamed this was possible from just listening to someone read.
I know you’ve already done Dickens, but David Copperfield is my favorite and I’d love to have that available. And I second the James Herriot suggestion, if those are old enough.”
