Serial carbon copy, so it's good
"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." There's a good story here and the tone and presentation are borrowed from Serial, which is not a complaint. The only minor complaint I have is the narrator is obviously reading from a script but tries to force a casual, spontaneous speaking that Sara Koenig of Serial has mastered.Read full review »

The story is interesting but it’s told in kind of a cheesy style, the background music, the self-congratulatory tone come off as a little too tabloid-esque for my taste. It seems a little exploitative instead of professional journalism.

Listen, the first episode was text book good. The way it was introduced. The footage of the phone calls etc. amazing. After that if started going down hill.
