A male journey along the sacred river
The sacred, the revered, the magnificent is present in every culture, and it is timeless. It touches us all, young and old, religious, spiritual, atheists or agnostics. It engages us all in different ways. And we have expressed awe and reverence in many different ways. We have all - women and men - taken part of ceremonies, rites, prayers and celebrations. So, where are the voices of women (nuns, priests, bishops, mothers, community members) praying, chanting, singing, humming...? Why are their songs, choruses, litanies, invocations ignored? Why were their contributions to the sacred river not included?
