This does seem to help me nod off. Thank you BBC!

How can we relax with those disturbing loud commercials??!!!

Trying to get into this sound compilation, but jumping over to a baby crying and a nose being blown wasn’t the peace I was hoping for

I love the podcasts, but as others have commented, the loud, frantic advertisements disturb the peace.
Momiji523 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/01/23
Excellent sounds from around the world. Do think the ads could be quieter as it can disrupt the calm.

This podcast is truly a work of art…and like art you must spend time with it! Over time it literally opened up in amazing depth and gave me a sense of gratitude!

This podcast is wonderfully relaxing, but offering much more than the ASMR podcasts that focus on a single sound. Cider making in Somerset, walking through time, and Forgotten sounds are just perfect. There is a problem caused by a bug in the way Apple podcasts and iTunes sync episodes. It cannot...Read full review »

I’m in the US and haven’t had accessibility issues. I’ve enjoyed hearing about these different places, love the nature sounds especially, and find it soothing/calming.

Wonderful escapist episode - will listen to this again & again. Having said that - all the episodes make a brilliant podcast to listen to for a bit of escapism. Highly recommend.

Great podcast of little value since most of the episodes can’t be accessed.
marias616 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/23/21
I wonder why the episodes are no longer accessible? Can’t find out any information about why. Disappointed.
appledowntown via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/13/21
As someone else has pointed out many episodes are not available to listen to.. what is available is excellent though.

Why can I not listen to any of these episodes?

more please 🙏

Love the concept of the podcast so much, but the built in ads are intrusive, jarring, and yank you right out of any calm you managed to establish. They’re at a much louder volume than the podcast content. It really ruins the experience if you’re drifting off to sleep and suddenly a cheerful voice...Read full review »

Wonderful podcast! I am in the US, and I am not experiencing the "inaccessible" issue that other reviewers have mentioned. So, the BBC podcasters must have sorted that out!Read full review »

I never knew I needed this podcast.

I like the podcast, but it stinks that nearly all of the episodes can’t be accessed. Kind of pointless to put out a show no one can listen to. 😕

Why are so many episodes not available? Disappointing.

Great stuff

The concept if this podcast is great but the execution fails misearbly. I'm unsubscribing since nearly every episode I try to download is unavailable, even the current ones! (in the US)Read full review »

Why? I would give negative stars if I could because this is so frustrating. I can’t listen to a podcast that isn’t available.
eawcwyo via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/26/19
Why have a podcast if the offerings are permanently “temporarily unavailable”?

Was surprised and delighted to stumble across this oasis of calm amidst a landscape of chatter in the podcast world.

I live in Italy and a few months ago the episodes of this pod weren’t available all of a sudden, and since then I could’t listen anymore
mary rose jo via Apple Podcasts · Italy · 03/21/19
Why are so many of these “temporarily unavailable”? Annoying, because the ones that are actually available are very enjoyable.
Hedabess via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/19/19
Episodes are unavailable (at least in the US). I listened to a few when the podcast was first made available and very much enjoyed them. Would love to listen to more and hope the author will address the issues with listeners outside the UK.
Britmusicfan via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/11/19
At least in the US :( I would really appreciate being able to listen to them

Most eps aren’t available.
Boiny44 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/23/19
The few episodes I can access are great, but most of them give me "this episode is temporarily unavailable" every time I try to access them. This happens both with with iOS podcasts app and with 3rd party apps. May be a configuration issue on the BBC end? Maybe only is reliably available...Read full review »

The sacred, the revered, the magnificent is present in every culture, and it is timeless. It touches us all, young and old, religious, spiritual, atheists or agnostics. It engages us all in different ways. And we have expressed awe and reverence in many different ways. We have all - women and...Read full review »

Love the 3 episodes I CAN get, but often get an error message “episode temporarily unavailable.”

So glad this podcast exists. Thank you !

This is such a wonderful podcast and such a welcome reprieve from the noise and cacophony of contemporary media. It’s no just sound landscaping, the gentle narratives are like having a quiet afternoon with familiar friends. Hugely beneficial

Beautiful content but length is way too short for the spirit of ‘slow’.

I hope that there will be more episodes in the future. This podcast plays an important role in helping me find inner peace in my spirit. Thanks!

Aural landscapes from spaces (urban, rural, and in-between) across the world. Usually the recorder gives some words in the beginning by way of introduction, explanation, and contextualization, and then lets the sounds unfold for themselves for the remainder of the episode.

I love listening to this podcast. So gentle and lovely.

This podcast is a joy. It's exactly what I needed, without knowing it. The walks with Horatio Clare are my favorite. I only wish the episodes were longer. More programming like this please!Read full review »

Just beautiful. This is the kind of thing most of us are lacking in our fast-paced, greedy, materialistic, and shallow world. Thank you for making this podcast.
