As a self-employed designer I have listened to plenty of good freelancing podcasts. But so far, this one has done the best of actually TEACHING the business, in a no-nonsense way. Plus, Ed speaks so naturally, clearly and with intent. He doesn't ramble. He doesn't stutter. He brings it....Read full review »

I recently wrote a review for Ed’s other podcast “High-Income Business Writing”; many of the same sentiments I would echo here. “Smarter Freelancing” is a powerful tool for anyone — small business owner and/or freelancer — who wants to grow. The topics are broad, from “mindset”, to “tools and...Read full review »

Thanks for that advice on closing a deal. Marketing can be hard at times but it is a critical activity in any business undertaking. With the right business mindset and some strategic thinking, there is no reason why a good product or service won’t sell.

Ed really gets to the heart of doing business, or better yet; doing life. We all gotta eat; but how does earning that income leave us feeling; and how do we leave our clients feeling after our interchange with them. Good stuff.

As a busy mompreneur, when I'm in front of my computer, it is to work. I spend most of my "down time" (driving, cleaning, exercising) listening to podcasts and teleclasses more than music.
