Trying too hard
I should admit upfront that I couldn’t get through the first episode, it was like listening some eight-year-old kid with a flashlight under a blanket in gleefully reading a Hardy boy’s mystery out loud. Because the thing is, when you’ve got a good story, and this is a good one, you need to just tell it. Don’t waste our time or your energy by relishing every other paragraph as if they were all so fascinating and a real page turner. Just tell the tale, that’s the real secret, just tell it.

I loathe the sneaky ad transitions. It will always backfire and there is no gain for you. Try the “running from cops” method of ad inclusion and your podcast will be better. Won’t be recommending this on the forums - everyone hates sneaky ads.

Less than five minutes in and I’m so distracted by the ‘music’ I doubt I’ll be able to stick around to hear the story.

The music is annoying and if it keeps up I will probably quit listening. Not very professional; more comedic instead of good journalism .
