I found snap judgement only a few months ago via a friend, but now I have listened to each episode at least once, some more than once. It is really investing and the stories that you bring in are so interesting. My favorite is probably Kismet or The Search for No Name Aporva. The only negative...Read full review »

In my opinion, Deep Dive episode was one of the best shows ever in podcast journalism! The reporter providing the story about Haenyeos was fascinating on so many levels because of the different situations the reporter found themselves in. I appreciated how they didn’t shy away from sharing their...Read full review »

The Gold Standard. I don't know how they still manage to produce over 30 brand new original episodes every year of this quaility! Glynn Washington is something special -- he and the Snap Team have created the most amazing sonic experience, EVER. Do yourself a favor and subscribe right away.Read full review »

a fantastic podcast with powerful, intimate and real stories featuring people from so many walks of life. i have been super moved by this podcast, listen to it weekly, and plan to use it in my college classroom in the fall to talk with students about power, race, and the importance of story.

I’ve been listening to Snap for years now and it continues to be brilliant, varied and interesting. I think it’s the best podcast out there and I listen to several regular ones and often try new things. Glynn Washington is compassionate and open minded and so is the podcast in general.

Intriguing sound design and great content bI’ve been list dream to podcasts for a very long time. One of my first favorites was Radiolab... I loved the sound design. There was not another podcast that came close to it until Snap. It’s in the layering of seemingly unrelated notes, tones and...Read full review »

The stories are meaningful, compelling and beautifully told. The musical bed and production are simply wonderful. My absolute favorite for any mood. Glynn Washington is a gift.

Snap has been my favorite podcast since 2017 and I’m a bit embarrassed that I’m only just writing a review now! I love everything about this podcast - the host, the producers, the stories, the empathy, and the honesty. The stories that are shared in this podcast are so good - hilarious,...Read full review »

This podcast takes me to another world - worlds beyond my own. I’m transported to West London, or Mobile, Alabama, or Oakland, California. Thank you for sharing your creativity!

Time for Snap Judgment to find some lighter/fun stories. So this podcast is really well done and creative way to tell people’s stories, however I find myself having to keep them on hold into I am in a certain mood. This is due to the fact that the subjects are not light and often you really need...Read full review »

I enjoy the stories but the ‘killer beats’ are too often ‘filler beats’. Enough already.

I love this podcast and have listened to every episode. I am truly disappointed in your approach to the story Zoo Nebraska. I can’t stand to listen to someone make justifications for his horrible behavior. Haskins’ selfish arrogance in “adopting” Rueben, creating his own little roadside zoo, then...Read full review »

Such a loving and touching story. Melted my heart how a young man struggled to feel his mother’s love or his love for her. Cried through the entire telling of his life story.

One of my all time favorite podcast platforms. Hands down. Top notch. The best of the best of THE BEST. You had me at hello. Culture is driven to change by story-this podcast could do just that: CHANGE THE WAY WE THINK. So worth every moment spent listening to. We love you Snap Judgement!!!!

I love the stories and the snap team. But I really do not enjoy Ben Washington as the host or interviewer - he’s rude. I ffwd through his sections.
ExAnimo195 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/24/20
Stories are brilliant in this podcast. However, there are seldom new episodes. There are a lot of old podcasts repeats with no warning, which is annoying because it becomes hard to tell how many new episodes come out in say a month or a year. Nonetheless, it’s worth listening.
Kmorjem via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 03/23/20
I think it’s pretty lame that now they only seem to be putting out one new episode maybe once a month and the rest of the time they just play a “classic” episode aka a rerun. Maybe they’re too busy working on their other podcast that you have to pay to listen too, but they still want the sponsor...Read full review »

I love this podcast! I listen to each episode as soon as it drops. The host is funny, kind, and meaningful. The music that accompanies each episode is top quality and beautiful. I was one of the original listeners to this podcast and I just loved it and contributed to the initial request for donations to get it going. However, the reruns and re-use of stories in shows advertised as new is now over the top. As other people have reported, the fact that the reruns aren’t...Read full review »

I’ve been faithfully listening to Snap Judgement for ~9 years now... the Snap Classics are great, but I like hearing new stories. I really like the show but there’s just too much bass in each episode, maybe my car speakers are piece of garbage but I had to modulate the volume each time bass would come on. I just wanna listen to the awesome stories and not feel like I’m in a club .

Completed confused by this episode. So many gaps in the story. This guy just walks into Howard Johnsons where she works to enlist her on a 100 day experimental “raft” trip across the Atlantic?
