So-you-want-to-be-writer Junkie
Thanks for this awesome podcast. I can’t believe that last year I had never listened to any podcasts let alone this, the best podcast in existence. A car trip alone without it leaves me as jittery and desperate as an addict so fortunately I can listen to the extensive backlog of recordings when the current episode is over for the week. I always enjoy the amazing interviews, even when the genre is not something I’d read, and I’ve frequently purchased books as a result of hearing the author speak. I also look forward to the Word of the Week, (sorry Al!) - love it when I know them from reading Georgette Heyer’s but also happy to learn new ones. (Well, you can you them in a sentence know that you know them especially if all your friends listen to this podcast!) SYWTBAW podcast is great accompaniment for my journey as a novice writer and it’s frequently got me out of a creative ruts, or back in focus and has even “talked me back from the ledge” when I was re-reading a manuscript. Thanks to my dealers, Val and Al, for my weekly hit, I’m very happy with this positive addiction that I have.

Great info and rapport between Valerie and Allison. I have done 3 x AWC courses now and am feeling inspired to do more. Keep the podcasts...Read full review »
