All the writing joys, with a touch of home
Prior to relocating to the UK four years’ ago, I hadn’t missed an episode of your podcast. But then a busy London work schedule intervened, and I used my commute to write, and eventually land an agent. This year I found myself disillusioned, as despite some encouraging and lengthy rejections, my novel exhausted its submission options. I initially felt at a loss, but then I reconnected with your podcast. It’s been a breath of fresh air, and a much-needed touch of home. The added bonus was a huge backlog of episodes to catch up on! I’m still writing, and currently working on a project just for fun. I hope to throw my hat in the ring again one day soon, but want to say thanks for all your writing tips, fascinating interviews, and of course, the word of the week!

Love this podcast! Being a writer in the Aussie outback can be rather isolating.. This podcast has really helped my writing evolve and is a helpful, friendly way to find out about the writing world outside of my Parker & fountain pens and leather bound note books.
