“I've been a follower of the SocialPros podcast for almost 6 months now and it has been a GIANT help to me, especially as a young and aspiring marketer in digital and social strategy.
These podcast are most valuable to me because it offers key insight into the strategies and methods of "the big dogs" in the digital and social world. The podcasts make it feel as if you are apart of the discussion and certainly provide listeners the opportunity to take the conversation off the podcast channel and onto a social platoform to engage with the interviewers.
This "Behind the Curtain of a Sports Social Media Giant" podcast hit home with me particularly because I, unbeknownst to me, had a conversation with Bryan via a FB message on the SF Giants fan page. I had shared a photo I took at the game through the message portal and he shared it on the FB page...quickly reaching approx 30k likes! Needless to say, listening to his strategy and that of other baseball teams, was not only COOL and informative, but also made me feel like i was, because of the photo, a part of their social strategy to a degree.
I would recommend these podcasts to ALL students of tech and social...branding goes far beyond an image and logo...it now needs to be SOcial.
