“I used to love these pair, they were like a pair of comfortable old slippers, but near the end of the BBC run (which I was forced to pay for) Kermode’s political leanings were slipped into the show more and more, which was the start of the decline. Now on the new platform (which I’m not forced to pay for) neither of them even try to hide their leftist groupthink and sneer at any other view, which as they are no longer on the BBC is their right to do, it’s also mine not to listen again, such a shame they can’t just stick to the films.”
