Season 17 - Why did you air it?!
I have been subscribed to SWW for a few years now. I don’t always listen in order, but I loved the way Tiffany advocates for people and educates - I certainly felt like I was learning almost becoming a better person. Then I listened to Season 17….. and it’s really tested all I believed about what this podcast should be about. A truly tragic situation, and the blame is largely set in the right place. But, the conduct of Leslie in the podcast is a hard listen. In her real life I’m certain she was the victim of a sociopath, but to hear how she speaks of these events disgusted me. And I don’t understand why Tiffany, and experienced podcaster, didn’t coach Leslie, or persuade her to speak from the heart (rather then the obvious script). Leslie sounded flippant and communicated with miss placed tone and inflection that she sounds callous and at times very disrespectful. I’m sure that’s not how Leslie feels or acts in real life. She has suffered a horrific loss and deserves our empathy. But Tiffany - why didn’t you help her to convey her story in a more real way? Why did you allow this to air in this way? And to include the terrible details of what happened to Jace in the same episode as Leslie is giggling about meeting her husband is shady of the SWW team - why do that to Leslie?! It’s shaken me up - I wish I’d never heard it. I have loved previous seasons but this season was handled very very poorly by the SWW team. RIP Baby Jace 🩵

I love this podcast. The story is amazing. The role that warped views of Christianity play in the manipulation is unfortunately not uncommon in abusive relationships, and I’m glad this podcast is shining a light on it.

Ugh
This podcast started out so promising, and I was excited to hear the big reveal, but when it finally happened, it kind of fell flat. Now that I'm invested, I feel like I need to keep listening in case something else is revealed, but nothing ever happens. Why I am listening to girls gossip on...Read full review »
