“OMG omg omg. I came across your podcast on a random search (don’t even remember what for) and picked one to listen to that just sounded interesting and.. omg. It is so rare for me to come across anyone who says things so similar to the ideas and opinions swirling in my head since literally forever and evolving over the decades. I live in a deep red area of a reddish state, somewhere I swore I’d never live (with mom) unless I had to, and it’s only confirmed everything I ever thought about avoiding conservative ‘murka. I’m tired of being told I’m “wrong” or to grow up or that “life isn’t fair, get over it” by people who are so ingrained and indoctrinated and enmeshed in capitalism that they can’t see beyond what they’re told to believe - and feeling like I’m alone. What I always find interesting (and LOVED about this episode) is when people put names to things I *KNOW* are real, but am constantly told are not. Like how so many female. business course entrepreneurs look and act exactly the same, like “downloading oppression”, like the issues between business and capitalism “extracting from other people” “no concern from outcome” “robber baron” (that one I use all the time, just to get blank stares from people around me). The whole thing disgusts me and is so contrary to what I know is right and better, yet the constant input I get is that I’ll never be “successful” unless I x, y, z. Thank you! Will try to listen to some more episodes, but for this one...wow. Sharing everywhere.”
