Should be part of the national curriculum
I just listened to Episode 14 of the Sage Sound Advice Podcast. It was so interesting and enlightening to hear Zaru Nanu talking about the way technology can be used to highlight the areas of a business that lack diversity within roles and can also highlight gender pay gaps. I'm sure many company leaders would be a shocked, and maybe even a little scared, to see and share the results of this type of study on their own company and would struggle to find valid excuses for the disparity. A real eye opener for me and many others, I'm sure. This sort of subject matter should be easily accessible at secondary school level, so that these inequalities and disparities can be discussed, educated and tackled while important opinions and personalities are developing.
