Great way to keep up with things stateside
Really enjoyable romp through whats going on in music with a consistently high standard of guest. The focus is heavily on independent and classic rock (but with some hip hop and R&B getting the occasional look in). Presenters Jim & Greg are enjoyably opinionated and take a strong line on how the recording industry is shooting itself in the foot (but could sometimes let their guests get a word in edgeways a little more!). As a UK listener I find it very useful to get some intelligence on what US bands are coming through.

An amazing show, one that is essential to any musician or music lover who wants to discover new music and keep up to date with artists new and old. The Desert Island Jukebox alone would make it worth downloading, but that's just the last five minutes of the show. Highly recommended.Read full review »
