In his book “Bliss Brain”, Mr Dawson claims that when you “relax your tongue on the floor of the mouth, [it] sends a signal to your vagus nerve which wanders all over your body, connecting all the major organ systems. It’s the key signaling component of the parasympathetic nervous system, which...Read full review »

Dear Tami, your pod is one of my all time favourites. The guests are from diverse interesting fields with a lot more depth than simply plugging a book. They have knowledge and wisdom to give, and they say it in carefully worded ways, and your thoughtful questions draws this out of them. Thank you 🙏

This is the best podcast channel for those who want to hear amazing people speak about books they’ve written on the spiritual process from a most talented host, Tami Simon. This is my favorite podcast channel

I listened to the entire show. And while I agreed with some of his tenants, I have to tell you, Tami, that the idea or practice of stoicism — for a good portion of the general population — is a thinly veiled excuse for the decisions and actions of an avoidantly attached person.

Absolutely loved this episode. Bought the book!! Thanks Tami for finding such great content. I wasn’t as crazy about the episode before with Gabor. That was strange!

While I don’t love all episodes, some more than others, many are excellent. I enjoy Tami’s commitment to quality guests and perspectives, her grounded , wise presence and calming voice. Gabor Mate’s episode sure rattled me at the start. Ouch. However, it is a rich episode and he reflects on...Read full review »

I respect the work of Gabor Mate, but he seems more and more egotistical every time I listen to him. He gets offended easily then pretends he doesn’t. There was a very tense exchange between Gabor and Tami, ( I could feel it) then Tami graciously acknowleges the tension, this was a perfect...Read full review »

Just listened to the one with Meghan Devine. This podcast and Meghan are a breathe of fresh air. The part about hope at the end was very helpful and a reframe I think I needed to hear. I’ve always had a complicated relationship with hope now I know why! Will definitely listen again! 💛
